CATS is providing free ambulance service in Delhi for accident & trauma victims, transportation of pregnant women for delivery and post delivery, inter-hospital transfers, etc. Further, CATS is also providing free “Home to Hospital Care” in all kinds of medical emergencies.

CATS functions through Network of Ambulances/Bike Ambulances  , strategically located on specific locations all over Delhi . Accident and Medical Emergency calls are  received in CATS control room at toll free number ‘102’ . The ambulances are  well equipped and connected through mobile data terminals  with CATS Control Room , are manned by  two  personnel , One trained Paramedics  and  one Driver for attending the calls. On receiving the call,  ambulance closest to the site of accident/ medical emergency is dispatched for the site from the control room.

Bike ambulances are manned  by  one Assistant Ambulance Officer . Bike  Ambulance Service is available only in congested areas of East Delhi. These ambulances/ bike ambulances  are equipped with medical and non- medical items for patient care.

Operation  and Maintenance  of CATS ambulances  had been outsourced to M/s BVG UKSAS EMS PVt. Ltd w.e.f 03-07-2016 and thereafter   M/s GVK EMRI is handling  the O&M of CATS ambulances w.e.f 01/07/2019  .

CATS ambulance service  can be availed of by dialling ‘102 ‘ toll free number from  landline or mobile phone.

CATS ambulance service is completely free of cost.

Yes, CATS ambulances are available for “ Home to Hospital” shifting in cases  of medical emergencies.

Medical Emergency  Patients who come  by Train and Aeroplanes    can avail the service by dialling  ‘102’  toll free number from mobile of landline phone.
