Centralised Accident and Trauma Services 
CATS is providing free ambulance service in Delhi for accident & trauma victims, transportation of pregnant women for delivery and post delivery, inter-hospital transfers, etc. Further, CATS is also providing free “Home to Hospital Care” ambulance services, for following type of medical emergencies and transporting the needy person to the nearest appropriate hospital/institution within Delhi: -
- Drowsiness or unconsciousness where the person cannot be roused
- Sudden Urine retention in the bladder causing discomfort
- Difficulty in breathing or choking or sudden & severe chest pain
- Dislocated or broken bones
- Sudden or severe abdominal pain that shall not go away
- Deep cuts and wounds with profuse bleeding
- Head injuries followed by drowsiness, vomiting, bleeding from mouth, ears or nose or any unusual behaviour
- Injuries of chest, abdomen, pelvis or spine (neck and backbone)
- Fall from heights
- Poisoning e.g. inhalation of toxic gases or drug overuse resulting in unconsciousness or respiratory distress
- Crush injuries or severe allergy or drowning
- Burns and scalds deep with white or charred skin or covering a large area than the size of hand or covering face
- Any burn caused by electric shock or lightning
- Any other life threatening medical emergencies
